Lately I've been trying to get into the habit of doing daily character/creature sketches. It can be hard at times to come up with a brief for yourself, so I've devised a way to kickstart my imagination through dice rolling. 

Since I don't have any regular die to hand, I'm using one from the game Zombie Dice. There are three symbols available- Brains, Feet and a Shotgun blast. I've chosen the yellow die that has two of each symbol, and each roll I do is for a different characteristic. It's been quite fun so far! Here's the chart I use and a couple of resulting images:

Havent done a character portrait in a while, so here's one from last week. I felt a little rusty doing it, so decided to do a Sargent study (below) to help me get back in the zone. Think i'll be focusing on characters for a little while now.
